Deuteronomium 8:5

AB	Weet dan in uw hart, dat zoals een man zijn zoon onderricht, de HEERE uw God u onderricht
SV	Bekent dan in uw hart, dat de HEERE, uw God, u kastijdt, gelijk als een man zijn zoon kastijdt.
WLC	וְיָדַעְתָּ֖ עִם־לְבָבֶ֑ךָ כִּ֗י כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר יְיַסֵּ֥ר אִישׁ֙ אֶת־בְּנֹ֔ו יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ מְיַסְּרֶֽךָּ׃
Trans.	wəyāḏ^a‘ətā ‘im-ləḇāḇeḵā kî ka’ăšer yəyassēr ’îš ’eṯ-bənwō JHWH ’ĕlōheyḵā məyassəreḵḵā:

AC	ה וידעת עם לבבך כי כאשר ייסר איש את בנו יהוה אלהיך מיסרך
ASV	And thou shalt consider in thy heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so Jehovah thy God chasteneth thee.
BE	Keep in mind this thought, that as a son is trained by his father, so you have been trained by the Lord your God.
Darby	And know in thy heart that, as a man chasteneth his son, so Jehovah thy God chasteneth thee;
ELB05	So erkenne in deinem Herzen, daß, wie ein Mann seinen Sohn züchtigt, Jehova, dein Gott, dich züchtigt;
LSG	Reconnais en ton coeur que l'Eternel, ton Dieu, te châtie comme un homme châtie son enfant.
Sch	So erkenne nun in deinem Herzen, daß der HERR, dein Gott, dich gezüchtigt hat, wie ein Mann seinen Sohn züchtigt.
Web	Thou shalt also consider in thy heart, that as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.
